Good to know
- Baisaran meadow has been shut to civilian visitors since the 22 April 2025 attack and was still reported closed in July 2026.
- July–August is Amarnath Yatra season: heavy security, convoy timings and Chandanwari closed to tourists.
- Permits: No permit for Indians, but several spots (notably Baisaran) remain closed by security order.
